1400S Hi-Max Sport aircraft project located in Southern California. Skip much of the early structural work and take over a project with a completed fuselage, built wing spars, and completed wing ribs. The wings are ready to be assembled, and the completed fuselage is ready for covering.
For comparison, a new 1400S Hi-Max Sport kit with prefab parts is $14,799.99. This project's pricing reflects the kit components plus the construction work already completed, with additional work included in the $22,999 option.
The as-is project requires an engine, propeller, electronics, avionics, covering, paint, and some materials to finish the wings, along with the remaining assembly and setup. The $22,999 option includes the wing construction, mounting, controls, and covering described above; engine, propeller, electronics, avionics, and paint remain the buyer's responsibility.
This project was started and built by a customer, then brought to Mini-Max USA for inspection and continued work. It is offered as a customer-started aircraft project intended for completion toward Experimental Amateur-Built certification. Build records and the scope of any additional completion work should be reviewed with the buyer's inspector before proceeding; E-AB eligibility is not guaranteed by this listing.

The checkout amount is a $500 refundable reservation deposit for a 72-hour hold, not the full aircraft purchase price. If you proceed, the deposit is credited toward the purchase price or the required layaway down payment. To buy outright, initiate the remaining balance by ACH within 72 hours; the transfer does not need to have cleared within that period. A verified pending transfer keeps the project reserved. Final sale requires a signed Mini-Max USA purchase agreement and Addendum A documenting the selected option, included and excluded items, completion scope, and pickup terms.
Sold as is, where is, except for completion work expressly included in the signed purchase agreement. Buyer is responsible for independent inspection, confirming completeness and build documentation, remaining assembly and systems, weight and balance, certification, and flight testing before operation.
