Mini-Max Education Programs

Bring Aviation to the Next Generation.

Mini-Max USA wants to partner with schools, colleges, youth groups, aviation clubs, and community programs to help students discover aviation through real hands-on aircraft building.

Aviation students can touch, measure, cut, build, and understand.

Mini-Max aircraft are simple, approachable, wood-and-fabric designs that can help turn aviation from an abstract idea into a real hands-on learning experience.

STEM Math, physics, structures, and aerodynamics.
Skills Measuring, woodworking, tools, and fabrication.
Teamwork Students learn to communicate and build together.
Future A bridge to aviation, trades, engineering, and aerospace.

The airplane is the classroom

Real aircraft. Real tools. Real inspiration.

Mini-Max USA wants to work with educators, mentors, youth organizations, and aviation advocates to bring the joy of aviation to the next generation.

Students do not need to start with a pilot certificate or an engineering degree. They can start with a ruler, a plan sheet, a piece of wood, a safe workspace, and a mentor who believes aviation should be reachable.

The goal is bigger than one airplane. The goal is confidence, curiosity, craftsmanship, teamwork, and a lifelong connection to aviation.

Inspired by youth aircraft-building programs.

Programs like Kids Building Planes show how powerful it can be when young people help build a real Mini-Max aircraft. They learn to read plans, understand structures, use tools safely, solve problems, and experience the pride of making an aircraft part with their own hands.

Who we want to work with

Schools, clubs, mentors, and community builders.

Mini-Max USA is looking for education partners who want to use aviation as a hands-on way to teach technical skills, problem solving, responsibility, and teamwork.

01

High Schools & CTE Programs

Bring aviation into shop class, STEM labs, career technical education, engineering pathways, and after-school programs.

02

Colleges & Trade Schools

Create hands-on aviation projects for aerospace, maintenance, manufacturing, engineering, and technical programs.

03

Youth Groups & Clubs

Partner with EAA chapters, aviation clubs, scout-style programs, homeschool co-ops, camps, and community groups.

04

Sponsors & Donors

Help fund kits, tools, materials, workshop space, scholarships, transportation, and community aviation events.

What students can learn

Hands-on aviation is hands-on STEM.

A Mini-Max education project can connect classroom concepts to the real world through aircraft construction, teamwork, and guided mentorship.

Program pathways

Start small, build momentum, grow the program.

Every school or youth organization is different. Mini-Max USA can help start the conversation around what level of involvement makes sense for your space, budget, mentors, and students.

Intro Call

Tell us about your school, program, students, mentors, space, and goals.

Program Plan

We help discuss realistic options: plans, mini-kits, aircraft kits, parts, tools, or phased projects.

Mentor Setup

Identify adult supervision, tool safety expectations, local aviation partners, and build leadership.

Student Build

Students begin learning by measuring, reading plans, shaping parts, assembling structures, and documenting progress.

Showcase

Celebrate the work through open houses, aviation days, school events, donor updates, or community presentations.

Safety and supervision matter: Educational aircraft projects should be supervised by qualified adults and should follow appropriate school, youth protection, shop safety, tool training, insurance, waiver, documentation, and aviation compliance procedures. Mini-Max USA can provide aircraft plans, kits, parts, and guidance, but each program is responsible for its own supervision, safety policies, and local requirements.
