The headset has thick, soft gel ear seals and head pad that keep head tension low and sound suppression high. The active noise-canceling system adds 16–18 dB of noise reduction. The S-AR has another great feature: it's very reasonably priced. Operates on one 9 volt battery (included), has fully articulating electret boom mike, and dual volume controls.
